BOUCHERIE is a traditional FRENCH brasserie and steakhouse, celebrating Joie de Vivre in the heart of West Village. Executive Chef Jerome DIHUI, former Chef de Cuisine of Pastis,prepares a menu of French classics and timeless bistro favorites, in addition to the DRY-AGED STEAKS from the wood fired grill. An absinthe-inspired bar offers classic drinks, signature cocktails and craft beers. Located in the building that used to house the prominent Circle Repertory Theater, the 220-seat restaurant provides a diverse array of dining options from the spacious dining room, a seat at the butcher counter, the intimate second-floor gallery with private dining and outdoor cafe.

The house is a hidden Asian fusion gem in north beach surrounded by Italian restaurants. The restaurant is small, but usually you can get a reservation a couple days ahead of time for a normal dinner time seating. The sea bass is phenomenal, some of the best I've ever had. They also pair the sides perfectly with the fish. You're given their wasabi noodles and green beans, and combined the flavors compliment each other really nicely with the sauce. The whole menu looks fantastic and one day I'll branch out and try one of their other entrees as they all look delicious!

Amazing restaurant. Came for restaurant week and had a really worth value meal. I had the Steak Tartare, Mussels, Steak, duck leg, chocolate mousse, and apple tart. Steak was really delicious and tender. The chocolate mousse was my favorite. Our server, Akin, was very wonderful and nice.
